West Twyford Primary School is an expanding 2-form entry school where “pupils are well taught by teachers who are hardworking and motivated to do their very best” (Ofsted, March 2018).  We will have an additional Year 6 class from September 2018 so are now looking for an experienced, inspiring and innovative class teacher to join our team.   

You would be joining our Visible Learning approach to learning as well as teaching the exciting Singapore Maths model.  We believe in offering a wide variety of enrichment activities for our pupils and have an excellent music provision.  Emotional health & well-being is promoted through innovative ways such as Baby Watching groups and Pet Therapy.  We also have a counsellor on site to support pupils, families and staff. 

Our state of the art building is richly resourced with a Clevertouch screen in every classroom and laptop trolleys for every class.  We have beautiful grounds which reflect our commitment to outdoor learning.

We would be interested in hearing from qualified teachers who have taught Year 6 or have experience in Upper KS2 that have the desire and ambition to experience the rewards and challenges of teaching in Year 6.  You will bring and share your experience, skills, and drive to innovate and inspire but also to learn from others.  You will have a proven record of empowering children to achieve very high standards and enjoy teaching a creative curriculum with termly, enriching outings.  You will want to go the extra mile to help children achieve their best and might run an extracurricular club or accompany a residential School Journey.
