Values and vision

Lark Hall Primary School wants to ensure that all pupils make good progress during their time in class, and that their individual talents are nurtured in a safe and caring environment. Children’s challenges are met with support and encouragement. The school’s vision is to be a place where learning is fun and ideas are explored. It follows five key values: equality, caring, enjoyment, honesty and respect.

The Centre for Autism focuses on three key areas – social communication, emotional regulation and transactional support – to ensure pupils have the opportunity to reach their goals. The centre applies a range of teaching styles to suit the different needs of the children, using techniques to help them overcome their difficulties, and encourage their strengths and interests.
