Molehill Primary Academy has an opportunity for an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our fantastic team, starting from Easter 2023. We are looking for a teacher who places children at the centre of school life, with high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour, ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a graduate with QTS and/or PGCE
• Has evidence of outstanding practice as a classroom teacher
• Has high levels of success in teaching in the primary sector
• Has the highest expectations of pupils and themselves
• Is enthusiastic, imaginative and forward thinking
• Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
• Is able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and governors
• Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Working at Molehill Primary Academy: At Molehill Primary Academy we have created a culture that enables both pupils and staff to thrive and achieve their very best. The Academy was opened in 1954 to serve the southern part of the Shepway Estate and the roads leading to it. It caters for boys and girls from the age of three to eleven years. It stands on beautiful grounds which we have specifically developed to aid curriculum studies.

To enhance our curriculum delivery, we are an academy for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), an IB World School. We employ conferencing, high quality learning conversions and scaffolding with no written feedback, as our evaluation and feedback approach.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 30 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff.
