About the role: Hartley Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher (NQT) to join our teaching team on a full time basis from September 2021.

We have an incredibly positive and enthusiastic work ethic within our academy; all staff are supported and enjoy working within our friendly and collaborative environment. This role is offered on a fixed term basis of up to one year in the first instance. Every effort will be made to offer a substantive position across the LAT family of academies thereafter.

What are we looking for in you? To be successful you need to be a qualified teacher who is passionate and knowledgeable about primary education; experience of teaching across the key stages is desirable. We will focus on what attributes you will bring to the academy and most importantly what impact you will have on our students. Our successful teacher will be able to demonstrate successful outcomes in English, Maths and Science and has developed excellent behaviour management. You will have high personal and professional standards, drive and energy.

Working for us: Roundash Nursery at Hartley is part of Hartley Primary Academy. We have 60 spaces for our youngest pupils, Monday to Friday, offering both morning and afternoon sessions. We place a lot of emphasis on outdoor learning and providing both a stimulating learning experience as well as encouraging the children to develop a sense of independence.  At all stages, we focus on progressing children’s skills and knowledge in a safe, caring environment.
