Caverstede is the only local authority nursery school in Peterborough. The children are aged between two to five years and there are currently 160 part time places. The school is run as an open plan unit and the children have free flow access to indoor and outdoor play the majority of the time. Children are from a very wide range of backgrounds and we have a high number of children with SEND.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, passionate early years teacher with a commitment to providing a rich curriculum experience for our children. We offer a supportive and professional staff team, good opportunities for professional development and an outstanding learning environment.

The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum; excellent classroom practice to enthuse and motivate children of all abilities and needs; be inspirational, dynamic and forward thinking with the ability to work flexibly within a large team.
