Job overview

We believe our first responsibility is to pupils, teachers, parents, and the local and wider community who invest in our school.  We would like to invest in class teachers who are creative, forward thinking and want to be part of a culture and community which aims to provide a broad curriculum filled with unforgettable experiences.

We run our own unique, innovative enquiry curriculum rooted in oracy, questioning and exploration.  It is led by the interests and passions of teachers and pupils, which has resulted in a Dragon’s Den with Smyths Toy Stores, a Bahai Revolt, Woman in Power, a local Science Fair, the reduction of plastic, upcycling, winning the Horticultural show again and much more.

The question is: What will you bring to the party?

Our staff are great! They are intelligent, ambitious, supportive and sociable. Quality professional development, bespoke to their needs, helps them to progress quickly. Coaching and training will help you get a step closer to your ambitions.  We have a school wide commitment to being healthy in body, mind and soul and to achieving a good work life balance. As a result, we have high quality planning for Maths Mastery and Talk 4 Writing already in place, so that you have more time to prepare and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class.

We would like you to:

• Visit our school or look at our Twitter @WexhamPS / www.wexhamprimary.com, to find out more about us

• Have a love of books and a passion for education

• Inspire and motivate

• Have a growth mind set and think outside the box

• Have ambition and a desire to become an expert

• Be creative in your teaching, so that learning is fun, challenging and motivating

• Be a part of the Wexham Court journey community

We can offer:

• A great place to work – come and have a look

• Polite, caring, energised and curious pupils who are a joy to be around

• Quality personal development be it as an NQT, RQT or Middle Leader

• A lively, social and caring staff who will make you feel at home

• A school-wide commitment to improving work life balance

• Manageable marking and feedback that works

• A day out each term to plan and resource enquiry units

• A range of benefits including health care, finance management, massages and wellbeing events and days.
