Could you offer an enthusiastic and committed contribution to our teaching team?

We are looking for an innovative primary school teacher to join the team from September 2018. We are seeking someone who has a passion and interest in children’s learning. 

For the fourth consecutive time, Alexandra School was judged outstanding by Ofsted in March 2016.

Alexandra has up to 80 primary age pupils aged 4-11, with a range of learning difficulties. Most have moderate learning difficulties. Many of our children have additional social, emotional and behavioural problems. There has been an increase in the number of children joining us with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, with more complex social and communication difficulties. Children work in small classes with highly supportive and skilled teaching assistant teams.

Applications welcome from teachers who have Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 experience. Special school experience is not a requirement, but the successful candidate will have had success working with children with SEN.
