We are looking for an upper KS2 teacher with a passion for teaching and learning; someone who wants to own their classroom and have vibrant and authentic relationships with their pupils. This position will be ideal for someone who already has a good knowledge of upper KS2 or who has the ambition and drive to become a highly successful Year 5/6 teacher. Burleigh is looking for someone who is conscientious, hardworking and deeply committed to ensuring children succeed. Our mission statement, working together for the good of the children, is simple, but demands wholehearted commitment. Everyone who works at Burleigh knows that they are here to put the needs of the children first. All staff have a desire to see each child become a M.A.G.I.C. learner, full of: Motivation, Aspiration, Gumption, Integrity and Communication. Whilst there are shared expectations, teachers are very much free to express their own individuality and teach in a style that enables them to achieve the best outcomes for their pupils. Burleigh staff are not clones of one another – our diversity is our strength! If our values and beliefs resonate with you, please apply for our upper KS2 post. All applicants are strongly advised to view the school first.
