Class Teacher

Deans Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Deans, Livingston. The school accommodates 10 primary classes and a nursery class with a roll of 50 children over 2 sessions.
The school and nursery is currently staffed by a non-teaching Head Teacher and Depute Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher,12 teachers,0.5 attainment teacher and one Support for Learning Teacher. The nursery comprises of a 0.5 Nursery Teacher, 3 Nursery nurses, and 1 Early Years Officer. The school is supported by a team of 4 part-time Pupil Support Workers who assist pupils in class. Clerical support is provided by an Administrative Assistant and a Clerical Assistant.
The roll of the school is 245. The school has a supportive parent body and works closely with the local community to establish effective links to support our children’s learning.
A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential.
