Class Teacher

St. Ninian’s Primary School is a Roman Catholic primary school serving the communities of Dedridge, Murieston and Adam Brae. This session, the school roll is 270 and pupils are currently organised into 11 classes from Primary 1 through to Primary 7. There are 18 members of teaching staff, some of whom are job-share or part time. Specialist provision in PE and Music enhances the curriculum. A team of 8 pupil support workers support children in their learning. There are two members in the administration team who deliver effective support to the whole school community.

There is a strong ethos of collegiality amongst the St Ninian’s staff team. All staff are committed to raising the attainment, achievement and aspirations of all learners within a positive, welcoming and inclusive learning environment. St Ninian’s has achieved 3 Eco School Flags and Level 2 Rights Respecting Schools Award. We pride ourselves on excellent partnerships between home, school, community and parish. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head Teacher to motivate and inspire others, and to ensure the highest quality of education for young people at St Ninian’s.
