Class Teachers

We are looking for Class teachers with the energy, talent and imagination to help make our curriculum truly memorable, helping us move from ‘good’ to ‘great’. We want forward thinking, optimistic people who are ambitious about what can be offered to our children.

The Role

As a Class Teacher for the Primary Phase of our academy you will be expected to engage and enthuse learners through a commitment to great teaching and learning, in all learning spaces both indoors and outdoors. We need people with the energy and passion to help make our curriculum truly memorable. To succeed you must be innovative in your techniques to motivate and inspire children; have the capacity to make great relationships, be a great team player and first-class communicator. NQTs and presently unqualified teachers are welcome to apply.

The Nottingham Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is one of the largest 3-19 schools in the country, with its own nursery, primary, secondary and sixth form provision.

We pride ourselves on having an outstanding staff team, committed to providing the best for every child. This training doesn’t stop at NQTs as the Learning Alliance also offers programmes for Teachers looking to develop techniques and strategies to improve classroom practice.
