Classroom Assistant

Carradale Primary School near Campbeltown are looking to recruit a part-time, permanent Classroom Assistant for 15 hours per week (7.5 hours perm and 7.5 temp until June 2017).  This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving school.  The hours/days can be flexible for the right candidate.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children.  The successful candidate will need to be self-starting, use initiative, have excellent communication skills and be very flexible in approach.  You will be joining a highly motivated, hard working team who aspire to the highest standards.

• The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked, on a term time basis.

• This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Membership in relation to working with children.
• The Council applies the Living Wage of £8.33 per hour to this post.
