Classroom Support Assistant - College Site

We are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding Classroom Support Assistants to join our team at our 6th Form College Site.

We have currently a number of full time contracts available, which are 5 days a week, (30 hours) and for 39 weeks of the year (term time only)

Classroom Support Assistants can earn £12,542 (actual pro rata salary) per annum for a 5 day a week contract.

We are looking for candidates who are keen, motivated and are able to work as part of a team. Successful applicants will preferably have experience of working in a school setting. Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and or working with pupils with profound and severe learning difficulties is desirable but not essential as further training is available.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. These posts are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and barred list check and other Safeguarding and Medical Checks. The interview will be a panel interview along with a written task and may include other tasks on the day.

All candidates will be required to provide two references which will be taken up if shortlisted but before interview. CV's will not be accepted in replacement of an official application form.
