Good Shepherd Primary School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 Catholic co-educational school, which currently caters for 746 students.

About the Role

At Good Shepherd, the role of Classroom Support Assistant (CSA) is an essential part of the teaching team. The role of the CSA is to provide support for classroom teachers so that all students are able to experience success in learning.


Essential Criteria

  • An understanding of and commitment to Catholic education.
  • A willingness to contribute to the community life of the school.
  • An ability to assist in the implementation of an effective model of service to support teachers in the classroom
  • Experience working with high needs students including (but not limited to) those with ASD.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the learning and social needs of such students and their families.
