We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about creating dynamic learning opportunities. Candidates must share our philosophy of student centred learning and inspiring our students to explore the world with curiosity and confidence. We have 200 students attending classes from Tiny Tots to Class 9. The vast majority of our students honestly love school. We're focused on JOY and work with holistic education practices to create a happy and stimulating school environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for team teaching classes 3 and 4. Together with our experienced Indonesian classroom teachers, the successful applicant will teach core subjects to a group of local and international students. Our primary language of instruction is English, though our student body is very international, and many speak English as an additional language. Each class is capped at 25 students, and usually, there are at least 2, if not 3, teachers in the classroom at all times. Our campus is just minutes from Ubud, the beautiful cultural and spiritual heart of Bali. The campus sits amongst rice fields, and is home to our organic gardens, inspiring play structures and butterfly hatching project. Farmers wander by, there is a Balinese temple next door. The campus provides integrated learning opportunities for our students. Each classroom is large and air conditioned, and outdoor spaces have been designed to facilitate structured and un-structured learning opportunities.In order to be considered, candidates MUST have the following qualifications:

• A degree in Education
• Speak English as a first language (applicants must hold the passport of a country whose national language is English -eg Canada, USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand).Be a generalist teacher with at least 5 years teaching experience in a Primary, Middle, or Junior High School

Ideally, available to begin on January 8th.

We will give preference to individuals who:

• Speak Bahasa Indonesia
• Have experience with the IPC, IMYC or IB Curriculum
• Have experience living in Bali or other international teaching experience
• Have experience with holistic, project based teaching and learning
• Have a passion for the environment, social justice and community issues and projects
