Finham Primary School

Full Time Classroom Teacher - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Grade TMS/NQT - September 2018

‘Inspiration is the spark that awakens us to the possibility of achieving amazing things!’

Finham Primary School is looking for a new member to join its vibrant, dynamic and dedicated team.

We are looking for a temporary full time teacher who wants to inspire the children and wider community to be the very best they can be – no excuses.

Finham Primary School has a very clear philosophy, that we would be happy to have our own children in any class at any time here at school and that every child needs the platform to shine. Yes, progress is crucial and sits at the heart of what we do but we want more than that for our children. We want resilient creative thinkers, selfless problem solvers and valued community citizens that have a strong set values and a hunger to keep learning. We are also part of the Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust and as such have pledged to develop and co-construct a ‘World Class’ Primary/Secondary Curriculum that ensures that children accelerate at transition and be the very best they can be…no excuses!

We have designed a unique creative curriculum and learning environment where the children can shine and teachers take on responsibilities and opportunities to rapidly progress in their career. The team here is dedicated to supporting each other in a variety of opportunities, from active sporting, international, Children’s University and enrichment opportunities, to lesson study, research and school improvement opportunities.

If you would like to join our team you need to be prepared to follow these three steps:

1 – Inspire us with your application form.

2 – Impress us with your teaching.

3 – Convince us that you would be an asset to our team in an interview.

We promise to invest fully in these three steps as everyone who is prepared to put in the time to apply needs to be invested in even if not everybody makes it to the end. If you would like to have a better idea of what life at Finham Primary School is like, follow us on Twitter @FinhamPrimary. Alternatively, if you would like to visit Finham to help you see if you would like to join the team, please contact the office on: 024 76 415425 or email: admin@finham.coventry.sch.uk for the attention of Mrs Lloyd.
