Mother Teresa School caters for students from four years of age, where students are enrolled in our Early Learning Centre, to students in Year Six. Our school motto “do small things with great love” inspires us to care for fellow members of our school community as well as reach out into the wider community.   The School prides itself on the diverse range of activities it offers the students and this is due to the generosity and expertise of the staff. The curriculum focus for 2019 revolve around Mathematics, Religious Education and Integrated units. A coaching model operates in the school to help promote professional growth.

We are currently seeking a Classroom Teacher to join our inclusive and vibrant team. The successful applicant will have excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments, and a strong understanding of a variety of assessment and reporting strategies. Mother Teresa School has four year five classes so the successful applicant will also have the ability to working collaboratively in a team environment and experience working with iPads.

Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims of Catholic Education.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.

Applicants are required to address the selection criteria, either through a statement of suitability or individually, to a maximum of 3 pages plus submit a current resume.

This is a part-time (0.6FTE) temporary opportunity commencing 29 January to 19 December 2019.
