About the Role

Due to a significant increase in enrolments, this is a rare part-time continuing opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our community. We are seeking a teacher with capability to teach both Music RFF and teach on class

Teachers at St Bede’s are enthusiastic practitioners with a passion for teaching, who bring outstanding pedagogical practice and innovation, a contemporary vision and strive to develop independence, inquiry and initiative in our learners.

Essential Criteria

The successful applicant will:

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school;
  • Collaborate with peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy;
  • Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices;
  • Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
  • Work with the school leadership team and colleagues to contribute to the professional life of the school;
  • Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes;
  • Role model a high level of professionalism through discretion, confidentiality, honesty, initiative, integrity, flexibility and patience; and
  • Displays a clear aptitude for the tasks and responsibilities listed in the position description.
