St Joseph’s is a Catholic Primary School located in O’Connor ACT. The school caters for students in Preschool - Year 6 and has an enrolment of 290 students in the primary school in 2019. Students attending our school come from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities. An excellent and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced and energetic classroom teacher to join our wonderful school.
To be successful in this role, you will have well-developed self-awareness and the personal capabilities of reflection on your own performance, with an aim to continue to grow and develop as a classroom practitioner.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents and staff where the focus is on the learning and well-being of the student.
Additionally, the successful applicant will have the appropriate qualifications and demonstrated experience to work individually and collaboratively to maximise the learning outcomes for all students.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CEO policy.
