Mt Carmel School is a Catholic systemic co-educational school located in Yass, catering for Kindergarten to Year 6. To achieve this, we provide for each child and their family a community that clearly identifies a common set of values guiding everything we do.

We are currently looking for two enthusiastic Classroom Teachers to join our inclusive and welcoming community. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents and staff. You will have an understanding of the role of monitoring, assessment and reporting processes to facilitate the learning and achievement of students. Additionally, you will have a sound understanding and commitment to the goals of Catholic Education.

Please note these are full-time temporary positions commencing 27 January to 17 December 2021. These positions are temporary in nature because the substantive occupant (the incumbent) is taking parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CEO policy.
