PART-TIME CLEANER 

Salary: Pay scale is start of NJC FTE £17,973.00 actual salary £4,443.67 

Working hours: 10 hrs per week - Term Time plus insets and 3 week of the school holiday. 

Start date: ASAP 

A part time cleaner is required at Katherines Primary Academy, Brookside, Harlow, Essex, CM19 5NJ 

We are looking to recruit a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a Cleaner. The position is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets. This will require duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, tables, chairs etc. A good understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable. 

The post is for 2 hours per day before or after school hours. If you think you would make an excellent cleaner and have the relevant skills, we would encourage you to apply for this post.

Recent Highlights

Katherines Primary Academy has continued their work in the community with several events this year (2018), raising the school’s profile whilst also reigniting the community spirit. Katherines Community Charter (KCC) continues to go from strength to strength. The school has opened its doors to the local OAP residents with a coffee and questions morning, with further events scheduled. During World Book Day parents and carers were encouraged to make book bags with their child and take a story home to share. The Easter Bonnet Parade even saw a glimmer of sunshine on another wise gloomy day for parents. Parents have been invited into school with the launch of Come and explore how Katherines... teaches maths, this has been extremely well received by parents. Katherines Primary Academy intends to open their doors once a term for parents to explore different aspects of the school. The local community has also had a clear up with Year Four pupils litter picking on Earth Day. Charity is still at the heart of Katherines, three classes this term have held a charity theme day with raffles and sales held after school.
