Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy in Witham, Essex are graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ by Ofsted respectively. Both have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike.
We are looking to appoint a number of Cleaners to join our Facilities team to help in busy periods and to cover staff absence. You will help to provide a safe and clean environment for all academy users by efficient and effective cleaning, ensuring that the appearance of the building is maintained to a high standard at all times. You will have experience of general cleaning duties and will have knowledge of health and safety.
The post is based across Maltings Academy and New Rickstones Academy and is due to start as soon as possible. This is a casual position -hours as and when required according to academy needs.
Salary: £7.20 per hour (plus annual leave payment)
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks holiday working

New Rickstones Academy is a secondary school based in Witham. This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy as we continue to expand. Over the last 8 years, student numbers have more than doubled, leading to oversubscription and the addition of a new building in September 2022 to accommodate the growing demand.
We maintained our 'Good' OFSTED rating in 2023. Whilst learning is our core aim, mutual respect and fantastic working relationships between students and staff is what makes New Rickstones Academy what it is.
