The Governors would like to invite applications from enthusiastic individuals for the post of Cleaner at St Mary’s Catholic College.  St Mary’s is one of the two Diocesan high schools for students of all abilities that serves families on the Wirral. In November 2016 St Mary’s joined the Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust which includes the other Wirral Catholic High School St John Plessington which has been consistently judged to be Outstanding in OFSTED inspections. It is an exciting time in our College.  The opportunity for the two schools to work collaboratively to share best practice is already beginning to bear fruit; with significant improvements in English and maths results in 2017 and 2018 and a very significant improvement in our College's Progress 8 score placing us in the top 7% of schools nationally for improvement in this measure in 2017. Together we have been able to offer a programme of continuous professional development that we believe is second to none. There is bespoke provision at whatever career stage a colleague is at currently to meet their professional needs and ambitions.  The successful applicant will be part of a team of cleaners, managed by a supervisory cleaner.  The post offers the opportunity to make a vital contribution to a key area of school life and the opportunity to work with our students of whom we are very proud.
