Cleaning Operative

Reigate Grammar School are looking to appoint a number of Cleaning Operatives to join our existing team in providing a full range of cleaning services to maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our school sites (Reigate and Tadworth locations). This is a “hands on” role working within a well establish cleaning team that will suit someone who can work Monday to Friday at agreed hours (usually morning and/or late afternoon-early evening shifts). Reigate Grammar School offers very competitive rates of pay and good conditions of work within a pleasant, school environment.

This role will involve contact with children. Reigate Grammar School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
