St.Michael’s Primary School - rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’- is a warm and welcoming school situated in the heart of the Tilehurst community.


We are seeking to appoint a clerk to the schools governing body who will provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support.


The governing body meet once a month with administrative support required between meetings.


We are looking for someone who:

Good communication skills with an ability to speak with confidence and accuracy

Excellent, accurate, and concise writing skills

Good organisational skills – able to prioritise workload

Excellent record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of governing body data/documentation

Tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and sensitivity

Ability to use appropriate IT equipment as required by the governing body
