The Greater Nottingham Education Trust was formed in 2016 upon the success of Carlton le Willows Academy, consistently one of the top performing schools in Nottinghamshire. The trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to provide professional clerking services to our Local Governing Bodies. The role will include providing advice on governance and constitutional matters and provide effective administrative support.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills. An ability to work independently whilst at the same time forming effective relationships with governors and school staff is essential. This post will work on a flexible basis so the successful candidate must be able to organise their own time and work to strict deadlines. The role involves attending evening governor meetings, currently 17 per year.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will need to undertake a criminal record check via the DBS.
