Do you wish to be part of a professional, dynamic team? Would you like to be part of a forward-thinking, highly successful Academy Trust of 11 schools?

We are looking to appoint a Clerk to provide effective administration and organisational support, guidance and advice on procedural matters relating to our Local Governing Committees on an annualised contract basis. Due to the annualised/flexible working pattern this role could suit someone who is already working and looking for additional employment, or as a standalone role

Purpose of the Role

Clerks support the local governing committees by:

•     Ensuring meetings are conducted in an effective and efficient manner with due regard to appropriate regulations and guidance.

•     Ensuring the Governing Committee is properly constituted in line with the Trust’s Articles of Association.

•     Providing advice and guidance to Governors to ensure that where appropriate, all meetings conform to legal requirements, procedures, Trust’s agreed Terms of Reference and all relevant procedures and processes.
