Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum pro rata (£23,783.78 - £29,729.73)
The College are seeking a professional, highly motivated and flexible individual responsible for providing an outstanding standard of governance.
As a senior post holder, you will be accountable to the College’s Corporation members, providing advisory, strategic and administrative support to the Corporation, ensuring its statutory obligations are met, while providing administrative support in fulfilling its strategic functions.
The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate activity of the College’s Board, act as Company Secretary for trading subsidiary boards ensuring that they operate effectively, and provide advice, guidance and support to the Corporation and its committees on powers, procedural matters, and the conduct of business and matters of Governance practice.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold the ICSA, Chartered Secretary qualification or relevant specialist qualification(s). Experience of providing advice and guidance at a senior level, is essential, preferably with previous experience as a Further Education (FE) Governing Body Clerk.
