Job overview

Rodborough School is looking for a clerk to Governors, to ensure the efficient functioning of the governing body. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clerk and efficient administrator.

The Clerk ensures the efficient functioning of the Governing Body by providing:

 ·        Effective administrative and organisational support;

·        Guidance to ensure that the Governing Body is compliant with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework;

·        Professional advice on governance, constitutional and procedural matters relating to the operation of the Governing Body in order to meet its statutory duties

·        This is predominantly a home-based role but will require frequent visits to school and flexibility will be required

Rodborough is proud to be a member of the Weydon Multi-Academy Trust (WMAT) and works closely in partnership with other schools in the Trust. We are recognised nationally for our work in partnership with the national Autistic Society supporting autistic students within a mainstream school environment.
