Hours:  37.5 hours per week

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays per annum (52 week)

Salary:£50,000- £60,000

We’re looking for a Clinical Lead/Regional Well-Being Lead to join the Outcomes First Group.

The post holder will hold clinical responsibility across the East region.  Mainly situated at Acorn Park School, but developing a resourceful service to other schools, residential homes and if required fostering agencies within the region.

Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to care, education and clinical services would be perfect for this role.

About The Role

The Clinical Lead is an exciting and specialist clinical and management role, covering multiple sites in a geographical operating region across residential care, education and fostering.

The post holder and their supporting team will be located within Acorn Park School, which is undergoing a period of transformative change.

The post holder will hold clinical responsibility, manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team providing services of, but not limited to - Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapy, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Therapy Assistants and other appropriate professions as the allocated services require to meet the needs of children, young people and adult’s. The post holder will be responsible for the outstanding functionality of the Wellbeing Hub achieved through a substantial resource being at their disposal.

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic clinician such as a Clinical Psychologist or Educational Psychologist to manage and hold clinical responsibility for our East Region.

The multi-disciplinary team will help provide all levels of service intervention to surrounding provisions within the Outcomes First Group, so the post holder will need to have their own means of transport. The post-holder will work independently within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures and support the integration of their specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e. standardised assessments and clinical services. A key aspect of the role will be quality assuring the hub and its delivery of informed interventions at a universal, targeted and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our children, young peoples and adult’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The role is required to take place in a range of settings across the group in applying assessments and the delivery of clinical/medical intervention. Skills in the management of data are also important as the role includes collecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work.

 

Essential Criteria (for a full list see the job description)

• Post Graduate Qualification, for example MA / Doctorate
• First degree in psychology, education, social work or related discipline.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience of working with children and young people
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
• Ability to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict.
