CMAT Senior IT Technician (North)

Permanent Contract:   37 hours per week  

Based:   Peterborough

Pay Range: CMAT Grade 7 Points 12 to 19 

(£21,589.00 to £24,799.00 per annum)                                        

Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust with 12 academies, colleges and Primary schools across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Central Bedfordshire in five different Local authority regions. 

There is a requirement to travel due to this position providing IT support at:

• Nene Park Academy

• Stamford Welland Academy

• West Town Primary.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an innovative and customer facing Senior IT Technician who can deliver a professional IT service and support to our academies and schools across the Trust, supporting them to secure positive outcomes for our students. You will work as part of a small-dedicated IT team primarily dealing with the successful management and smooth running of the Trust’s IT systems to ensure optimum efficiency in the delivery of ICT.

You will have experience and knowledge of supporting IT users with a customer service focus and will be a team player with the ability to also work effectively on your own, often under pressure. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills are essential as you will be working within a fast paced and demanding environment. This is an investigative role, which requires good communication skills, problem solving techniques and a pro-active attitude to work.
