Co-Student Life Coordinator

ISR International School on the Rhine is a private, coeducational school catering for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. The school operates a non-selective admissions policy and has an enrollment of around 1000 students with more than 50 nationalities representatives in the student body.
ISR is accredited by the German authorities as an ‘Anerkannte Internationale Ergänzungsschule’ (International Supplementary School) and by the US accrediting agency Cognia (formerly known as AdvancED). ISR is an IB World School authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme, and also offers Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) IGCSE courses. The school is a certified member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and a licensee of the SABIS® Educational System.
We are looking for a Co-Student Life Coordinator for August 1st 2021 or earlier.
This role oversees Student Life Organization (SLO)® and all activities within the Student Life (SL) Departments, effectively recruiting, building, and maintaining the SLO® team, coordinating, and cooperating within the departments of the SLO®.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching, advising, and supporting SLO®, including the student Leadership Team to assume responsibility confidently and communicate effectively throughout the school day
Ensuring proper training of all involved students, effectively teaching academic, managerial, and leadership skills
Coordinating and planning Leadership Team training including Summer Training, Leadership Weekend and In-Service Training Days for the leadership development of SLO® Prefects
Organizing and planning school events for the entire academic year
Managing the booster/academic support sessions, from enrollment to execution and troubleshooting any issues
Inspiring all students to join SLO®, to be active within the school community
Coordinating closely with the Academic Heads and Heads of Departments to ensure that the SLO® contributes effectively to the academic success of the school
Acting as the general contact for SLO® for parents and students for any SLO® related matters
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Ideally with teaching or team leadership experience
Ability to communicate effectively both with students and school management
Good organisation skills, ability to plan and execute through others on multiple tasks
Problem solving skills
Proactive mindset and readiness to achieve goals and targets
