About Institut Montana - Zugerberg

Parents from all corners of the world send their children to us. The purpose of Institut Montana is to educate our students to become tolerant and responsible adults. Our international school community with its highly qualified staff is well equipped to achieve this goal. Montana is situated between Zürich and Lucerne in the beautiful countryside of the Zugerberg at an altitude of 950 meters and has approximately 250 students from over thirty countries.

Because of the many educational possibilities we offer, it is easy for us to assure that new students are placed in the program best suited to their needs. Classes at Montana are small (with a maximum of 15 students) and this allows us to encourage the special abilities and talents of each of our students. Teaching is combined with conscientious supervision, and the entire educational process is supplemented by diverse cultural and sports activities. We are part of an educational tradition that has been proving itself for decades and are therefore confident that we are preparing our students in the best possible way to be responsible both as family members and as members of the larger society.

It is also, of course, especially important for us that our students enjoy their stay on the Zugerberg.
