Salary: £13,969.34 per annum (working 40 weeks per academic year) your actual salary in the first year will be less if you start part way through the academic year. You will be paid extra weeks to reflect holiday entitlement of 5 weeks plus 1.6 weeks’ bank holiday entitlement. This salary is divided into equal monthly payments and paid over the whole year until the end of August)

Part-Time (working 32 hours per week, this will include evenings and occasional weekends as required)

Bishop Burton is one of the leading land based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in student numbers. We provide Further Education and Higher Education at our Campuses at Bishop Burton College near Beverley, and at Riseholme College near Lincoln. This includes a brand new Showground Campus featuring state of the art teaching environments, engineering workshops, sports facilities, world class laboratories and an industry leading animal management unit. At our Bishop Burton campus we have undergone a multi-million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility. 

You will become a part of a strong and reliable transport and security team, providing routine daytime and evening pick up and drop off services to College students. You may also be required to move goods to different locations. As part of the College team you will have responsibility to promote the safeguarding and welfare of all college students. You will support all academic, pastoral and recreational trips using one of the college vehicles whilst also assisting in the fuelling and maintenance of the fleet. 

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in driving coaches or large buses, you should also hold a current clean driving licence, an up to date Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) as well as a PCV Group D Licence. You will be smart, reliable and able to provide a professional service to customers with a flexible approach to work
