Linkage College is one of the largest specialist colleges in the country for people with learning disabilities, and was rated by Ofsted as “Good” in its last inspection report in February 2013. At this inspection, the College became one of only 6% of colleges of any type to gain “Outstanding” accreditation within Outcomes for Learners, with a success rate of 94%. The College is well established in its home market but is working to fulfil its ambition to work outside of Lincolnshire.

The post holder will lead the College in providing an outstanding learning experience for students, including improving outcomes and the development of new education provision. They will be responsible for effective operational management, College resources, collaboration with other specialist providers, Local Authorities and employers, and continuously work to ensure Linkage’s reputation in the specialist FE sector is enhanced further.

This is a unique and challenging opportunity for an exceptional candidate. Excellence will need to be maintained within a period of considerable change, with learners and staff at the core of the business.
