ABOUT THE ROLE
This post focuses on implementing the College Sports Development Strategy to include designing, developing and co-ordinating a diverse range of opportunities for students and staff to participate in, perform in, lead and volunteer in sport activity. In addition, you will be required to build effective links with local schools and sports clubs to enhance the provision.
You will work with the Head of Student Support, Heads of School, relevant support services and external partners to ensure that a high quality, relevant offer is developed and delivered to the various groups, leading to an increase in participation in sports related activity.
The role will require you to embed and work to the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200 full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield.
Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
