If you offer experience in events management, with strong marketing and sales skills, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at Westminster School Enterprise Ltd.

Westminster School Enterprise Ltd (WSEL) is a newly formed department of Westminster School that is responsible for raising additional revenue to support bursaries and other areas of the School. 

Our seven main revenue streams include: residential and day education camps, venue hire, filming and photoshoots, sports hall and pitch hire, digital IP, and commercial lettings (including our Nenthead House holiday home in Cumbria). Knowledge of these areas would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the overall management of commercial events sales, helping to maximise client relationship development, revenue growth and profits for the commercial business. 

To achieve this, they will: 

  • Provide a high-level events experience, logistical advice and support to customers
  • Negotiate prices and fees, helping to meet or exceed the annual budget figure
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with WSEL's approved suppliers, as well as departments and stakeholders from across the school
  • Oversee WSEL Events, providing on-site management
  • Assume responsibility for invoices and credit control

About you 

The successful candidate will need previous experience of managing a commercial events function within an organisation, as well as experience of working in a demanding business, sales or marketing environment. 

They will demonstrate a proven track record in implementing and managing account plans and delivering financial targets, budgeting, monitoring and reporting, and will have proven experience of working to tight deadlines. Additional experience of implementing proactive marketing strategies is essential, along with a good knowledge of the industry and markets in which Westminster School operates.
