This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive Marketing & Communications Officer to manage the implementation of an effective marketing and communication strategy at Wardle Academy.  

Wardle Academy is part of the Wardle Multi - Academy Trust and is located in a semi-rural setting serving the Pennine communities of Wardle, Dearnley, Littleborough and Smithy Bridge, although a number of students also travel from Todmorden and Rochdale. The school is situated close to the M62, with quick and easy access to both Leeds and Manchester. We aim to provide an excellent all-round education within a safe environment of modern facilities and resources.   

You will have previous marketing experience, strong written and confident verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail as well as a creative and proactive approach to your work. The ideal candidate will have experience in content marketing with the ability to design effective content for a range of different audiences. Experience in social media management and CRM is also desirable.

Previous experience in a similar, client side position would be an advantage.  

You will be joining Wardle Academy at an exciting time as we enter a period of rapid improvement on our way to becoming ‘Outstanding’ in the future. This role is ideal for an ambitious marketer who is looking to make a powerful impact on an institution and step forwards into an accountable role, in preparation for management level positions.
