Derby College are continuing to recruit to their expanding "OFSTED Outstanding" Inclusion and Support Team.
We offer a huge range of support to learners across all of our College sites and if you are positive, motivated, ready to learn new skills and be a role model we'd love to hear from you.
This is a newly created role within the Deaf Access team and is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a small team who provide interpreting services for internal & external D/deaf customers within education, business, medical and community settings across Derbyshire.
You will also need to work from a Socially Inclusive perspective and be able to provide inclusive person-centred support to a range of learners on study programmes across all sites, thus improving retention and achievement.
The successful applicant will be NRCPD registered and suitably qualified to Level 4/6 BSL and have completed Level 6 Interpreter training.

Derby College is a large general further education college with four sites in or near the city of Derby. It supports around 26,000 learners, who choose from more than 1,000 full-time and part-time apprenticeship, A-level, BTEC and NVQ courses.
Derby College was established as a single institution in 2002 by merging three further education colleges: Mackworth Tertiary College, Wilmorton Tertiary College and Broomfield Agricultural College. A merger between South East Derbyshire College and Derby College was approved in 2010. Heavy investment has been made by the college in its teaching and learning facilities, from the fully equipped teaching kitchens at the Roundhouse campus to the high-tech science labs at the Joseph Wright Centre and the Equestrian Centre at the Broomfield Hall campus.
