Community Learning Department Manager

As Department Manager you will lead on the strategic development of this department to ensure alignment with government policy, local authorities priorities and community and employer needs. You will provide leadership to the team and manage all aspects of the department, ensuring excellent outcomes for the learners through implementation of the Service's quality assurance processes.

You'll be an inspiring and innovative manager with experience and expertise in the area of community learning and will be focused on delivering high standards of learning so that our learners can achieve and reach their potential, but are also equipped to be resilient active citizens within our community.

It is essential that you can demonstrate that you have experience in leading high quality provision in line with Ofsted requirements.

You will need adequate teaching experience, along with relevant subject specific and teaching qualifications. Working across a number of locations and weekend work may be required.

Use of own vehicle, current valid driving licence, or access to mobility transport and a willingness to travel are essential for this role.

A full enhanced DBS will be required.
