Computer Science Teacher for KS3

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science teacher (NQT’s considered) to join us for maternity cover.   

Poole High School is an oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school serving families throughout the historic town of Poole. As one of the largest school’s in this selective catchment, we pride ourselves on the fact that all students thrive in this caring and collaborative team. This year, we are the most successful comprehensive school in the authority. The department has transformed itself in the last two years and is model of good practice for others.

The school has just achieved its best ever set of results for the second successive year. 67% of students attained A*-C in both English and Maths (English having attained 75% A*-C and Maths attained 77% A*-C).

The school has delightful landscaped grounds and is very well resourced, being located at the heart of the town with excellent access by road and public transport. Our students are well motivated and co-operative, and the team spirit in this large enthusiastic department is second to none.
