Tes is currently working on behalf of an International School located in a beautiful, semi-rural part of the Paphos region in Cyprus.
They are seeking a full-time Computer Science Teacher to teach across their Primary and Secondary phases, starting in September 2021.
The school offers comprehensive co-educational teaching at the highest level from Kindergarten to Secondary. The curriculum is based on the English system; it is broad and balanced, ensuring that students not only advance in academic subjects, but also in sport and the arts. The emphasis is on preparing students socially and emotionally to become confident and resilient young people.
In coming to Cyprus you are making a lifestyle choice and not necessarily a career choice. Salaries are much lower than those in the UK, however this is reflected in the cost of living. It’s a wonderful, safe and beautiful country where life is lived outdoors almost all year round.
Requirements :
• BSc in Computing/Computer Science or closely related subject
• At least 2 years' classroom experience (would consider exceptional applicants with fewer than 2 years)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Already based in Cyprus, or available for immediate relocation
• A genuine interest in living and working in Cyprus
• Experience of the English National Curriculum
