Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science to work in a College in North Yorkshire, to join their dynamic Computer Science department as soon as possible.  The role will suit a Computer Scientist who is ready for a new challenge to develop their practice in a forward thinking, creative and dedicated team.

This is an opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Computer Science/ICT teacher, the position is likely to run until the end of the academic year on a part time basis.

The colleges  Computer Science department is made up of talented staff who all have a true passion for the subject.  The friendly team work very closely together to ensure the students achieve the highest grades at A-Level. 

The successful candidate should be prepared to contribute to all the courses offered. Members of the ICT department work closely together, sharing knowledge and expertise, and undertake the following responsibilities:


• Delivering Sixth Form curriculum


• Sharing expertise with other department members.


• Assisting in the development of ICT courses.


• Supporting the development of ICT across the curriculum.


• Assisting in staff training.
