Hampton Court House is an all-through (3 to 18) independent school in southwest London. Situated in beautiful riverside parkland between Richmond and Hampton, the school was short-listed for Senior School of the Year at the 2020 TES Independent School Awards.

Hampton Court House has an established reputation for computing and programming. Computing is taught as a specialist subject from Year 5. We seek an authoritative and enthusiastic computing specialist with the skill and personality to assist in the continuing development of the school’s computing and programming culture.

The successful candidate will have a background in computer science, and a strong desire to teach this subject at A level and GCSE. The candidate should be open to learning and introducing emerging technologies to students, must be a self-aware individual with outstanding interpersonal skills, and able to inspire our boys and girls with a love of programming and computing.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of interests, and be able to contribute to the high cultural and intellectual ethos of the school. All of our teachers are expected to contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school.

This position is a full-time and permanent to start in September 2021.
