Job overview

COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER

Permanent, Full time

From September 2022

MPR / UPR

St Edward’s School are looking for a new member of the Computer Science Team. You might be an outstanding teacher of Computer Science, or have the potential to become one. If you’d like to join our staff community in this highly successful and over-subscribed school, we would love to hear from you!

The Computer Science department has recently undergone a transformation with both main teaching rooms being refurbished, one specifically for A Level teaching, and investment in a multitude of new resources to assist teaching and learning.

Programming is done in Python at all levels from KS3 to A Level, so experience in this language or a willingness to develop in Python would be desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an NQT or a teacher wanting to develop their career further.

We offer great facilities, tailored CPD and a caring, encouraging and highly motivated staff community.

Please visit our website at network.st-edwards.poole.sch.uk for further information about our school. If you would like to visit us, or have a conversation before making an application, we’d love to hear from you.

Interviews will be held in accordance with coronavirus guidance in place at the time.

St Edward’s School is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children & young people. All appointments made are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Closing Date: Sunday 28th November 2021

Interviews: Friday 10th December 2021
