Hours: 32.5 hours per week Monday - Friday term time only

Priory Lodge School are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher of Computer Science and related subjects to teach up to A level. You will be able to deliver lessons that inspire our learners to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and your drive for continuous improvement will be exceptional.  The ability to teach an additional subject is desirable.

The Priory Lodge School is a school for young people aged 7-19 with mild to moderate autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. Located in Roehampton, SW15 London we aim to deliver the highest level of education and care according to individual needs in a safe, positive and structured environment.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a Learning Support Assistant.  Experience of teaching students with a diagnosis of autism is preferred.

About Roehampton Gate School

Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders, in particular Asperger's Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. It is situated next to the Hospital Roehampton. The school opened in April 2010.

The spacious and modern building has been specifically designed to accommodate up to 40 young people with autistic spectrum disorders and Asperger's Syndrome.

The classrooms are set up for specialist subjects including information technology, art, food technology, science and music, together with exclusive sensory and therapy rooms/suites or studios.

Roehampton Gate School is also uniquely placed to benefit from the extensive therapy and specialist mental health services provided at the Hospital Roehampton. Staff and students will also work closely with the child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and experienced educational psychologists
