The Key is looking for a safeguarding specialist with a creative flair to join us as a content editor for our market-leading support services.

The role

As a content editor you will research, write and maintain practical and engaging content of exceptional quality to meet the needs of school leaders, governors and leaders of multi-academy trusts.

You will draw on expertise from trustworthy external sources, from both the education sector and outside it, and quickly develop specialist knowledge of the sector. You will speak to our members regularly, to understand their problems and how best to address them.

You will bring imagination, empathy, creativity and commercial sense to everything you do.
 
This is a full-time appointment.

Location: Central London
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 (depending on experience)

The person

The ideal candidate will have first-class research and writing skills and experience in creating digital content. You will be an avid consumer of online content and have a keen interest in digital content trends. You will have a creative spark and strong commercial awareness to spot opportunities for high-impact content. You will have a demonstrable passion for the education sector and a strong focus on professional learning.

You will also have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and experience of editing copy
  • The ability to collate and respond to findings, usage trends and user feedback
  • User research experience
  • Data analysis skills
  • Experience in journalism, writing digital content or content marketing
  • Strong editorial judgement and decision-making
  • Good team-working skills and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Experience working with safeguarding in schools
