Salary: Grade 4 Scale 17 – 22 (£17,772 -££20,661) Pro Rata

35 hours per week 39 weeks per year

Southey Green is a large three form entry primary school with two nurseries in north Sheffield (Group Size 4, NOR: 736). The school is at the heart of its community and in January 2013 became a member of Tapton School Academy Trust. Tapton is an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Sheffield and the Academy Trust is rapidly establishing itself within the city.

The governors of Southey Green are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic cook supervisor with proven experience to join this busy but friendly school. The successful candidate will be responsible for 400 lunches, breakfast club service, packed lunches, buffets and food for school trips.

Membership of the Academy Trust provides a range of opportunities for partnership working and continuing professional development with an outstanding secondary school and a network of primary schools within the locality. We are all working together to establish really effective practice for the benefit of every child.

You will need to have:

· Catering experience and a qualification to City and Guilds 7061, 2, 3 or NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

· A food hygiene certificate

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent team working skills and experience of managing a team.

· IT Proficient
