Good Shepherd Primary School is known for its strong community spirit, commitment to family and strong link with the Parish of Holy Spirit. Literacy, Numeracy and ICT are key focus areas in our teaching, with staff active in developing our curriculum to ensure it is relevant and effective for all our students.

We are currently seeking a Coordinator to join our friendly and committed team. To be successful in this role you will be responsible and able to develop a positive culture of challenge and support. You will have the ability to use a range of management methods and technologies to ensure that the school staff and resources are organised efficiently and are managed around the principles of subsidiarity. This includes the delegation of tasks and accountabilities in ways that promote the leadership of others. Additionally, you will develop and maintain positive partnerships with students, families and carers, the local church and the wider school community.

Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims of Catholic Education.

Please note that this position is for an initial three-year period with an opportunity for further extensions. Two further extensions (each of four years) will be offered based on performance outcomes.The position will be underpinned by a permanent (ongoing) teaching position within Catholic Education. The commencement date for this position is 28 January 2020. 

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
