We are looking for full time Teacher of ESL or Science to start in August 2019 who will take additional role of "Coordinator of foreign teachers".
Overview of role:
Successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of 20 teachers: Geography, ESL. PE, Global Perspectives, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Country Study, Science, Literature.
Coordinator will ensure that Primary teachers:
- set up high expectations in a class
- build engaging, collaborative and innovative learning environment
- display various methodologies and activities in a classroom
- have full support in the choice of study materials, both online and offline
- are well prepared for the lessons
- arrange formal and informal assessments of the students throughout the year
- receive feedback on their performance and further recommendations on developing their proficiency
- regularly participate in trainings and workshops aimed at raising and unifying teaching standards among all Primary school teachers
Coordinator covers any of the teachers if necessary. The position reports to the Headmaster.
Requirements:
- University degree in Education, PGCE
- EFL qualifications TEFL/TESOL
- Experience in teaching and guiding 3+ years
- Strong classroom management skills
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Capacity to lead the team and set high academic standards across the School

About Evgeny Primakov School
Evgeny Primakov School was launched in Moscow in September 2017. Our school welcomed 700 gifted and talented students from 3 years of age to 17 years of age. About the academic program
Students at Evgeny Primakov Gymnasium will study subjects in both Russian and English languages. The latter will be represented by the subjects of Drama, Global Perspectives, Literature, Art & Design, English as a Second Language (ESL), Music and Physical Education. These subjects will be taught by professional Primary and Secondary teachers, experienced in teaching non-native students in an international setting. The goal of the academic year 2021-2022 is to continue developing fluency in English (that is why ESL will be taught across all age groups throughout the year) and to introduce students to the best practices of hands-on and practical learning.
